Judy Porter has been a consistent community organiser for the community union defence league for around 2 years.
She has organised hundreds of meals by networking with neighbours, friends, and those in the general community. Without cooks like Judy and the volunteers, she helps gather our operation would not be possible. We want to thank her for her unwavering commitment to serving the most vulnerable in society without ever receiving anything in return.
We love and appreciate your contribution to making our society abit better than it was before.
If anyone else would like to get involved in cooking for the community kitchen please contact us on info@cudl.org.au or on 0406 206 667
Deanna Gerges and Mary Gerges have been volunteers for the Community kitchen for what seems and feels like the beginning of the kitchen itself. Year on year they have been often known for their delicious pasta and sandwiches.
The patrons at the Kitchen would like to extend their gratitude to Deanna and Mary for all their hard work over the years and for their continued contribution to the kitchen. Deanna and Mary never ask for praise, but the patrons of the kitchen have expressed their gratitude each and every time they extend a helping hand with their freshly prepared meals.
Thank you from the volunteers, patrons and Community members for all your tireless efforts.
